Katherine Pittman
Katherine (Katie) Pittman is a graduate of Ohio University with degrees in Journalism and Spanish. Currently, she resides in Brooklyn, NY, with her dog Olive and nearly 50 houseplants. Currently, she’s a home writer for MyDomaine and a contributing editor for Boston Magazine and Boston Home.
Formerly she was the executive assistant to the editor-in-chief of O, The Oprah Magazine. She also was a writer and editor for Byrdie, an online beauty publication.
During her time at Ohio University, she served as the editor-in-chief of Thread magazine, Ohio University's first and largest student-produced fashion magazine, for two years. She was also the deputy editor of Ohio Journalist, a magazine produced by the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and sent out to all OU journalism alumni. She also wrote and blogged for Southeast Ohio Magazine, a publication dedicated to serving those living in southeastern Ohio.
When she isn't at work, Katie is usually planning her next weekend getaway or sipping on coffee that’s fresh out of the French press.
